IanTHOMSONTHOMSON DR IAN HJean, Robin, Ian, Judy and Margaret and all the family would like to thank all those who attended Ian's funeral services at Uphall and Mortonhall and those world-wide who sent an overwhelming number of cards and letters and verbal expressions of sympathy.Special thanks go to Rev. John Jenkinson for his comforting and uplifting services and for his insight into Ian's life, the Ian we all knew. Grateful thanks also to the officials at Strathbrock St. Nicholas Church in Uphall for all their help at the church and to Bill Grieve for his sympathetic help and very efficient funeral arrangements. Also much appreciation of Uphall Golf Club's help and kindness with the catering. Ian would have been so very touched by all the tributes.Over the years Ian was helped by many of the consultants, doctors and nurses at St. John's Hospital and by the doctors, nurses and staff of the Newlands Practice in Bathgate and we would like to express our grateful thanks to all these people who helped to keep him with us for so long.The generous donations of £1050 are divided between the British Heart Foundation, Diabetes UK and the National Ankylosing Spondylitis Society.
